Collection: Emma Flaherty

Emma Flaherty's vessels are reminiscent of ancient amphorae, but these vessels take on a metaphysical quality in a contemporary context. Their spherical forms and silent interior spaces examine the relationship between mind and matter, fullness and emptiness, and positive and negative.

Emma's journey in ceramics began while living and studying in Japan. She now lives and creates in Perth, Western Australia.
